Needing a birdie on the 18th to avoid a playoff, Fox striped a 330-yard drive down the left side of the fairway, leaving himself a clean 175 yards. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler battled hard with back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17 but bogeyed 18 to finish tied fourth at 7-under.
